Our research axes

CREAE’s activities are divided into four research axes corresponding to our researchers’ fields of expertise. These areas are complementary, which explains why research projects can fall under multiple axes.

Who we are

The Chair for Research on Exploited Aquatic Species (CREAE) was created to increase efforts to acquire knowledge on sport fish species for ensuring the sound management of wildlife resources.

More specifically, it aims to acquire new knowledge geared towards developing and optimizing fish stock management tools and to train specialists in fisheries resource management.
